Kuma Area Health Clinic has re-opened its doors to patients after its water supply was restored.

The rural area clinic in South Guadalcanal was forced to close for seven months because of a shortage of water.

SIBC stringer for South Guadalcanal Nathaniel Manu reports the clinic re-opened and began normal services again last week after its water supply was restored.

“Kuma rural health clinic at the Vatukulau ward in South Guadalcanal has re-opened its services after closing its doors for seven months. According to those living at Vera Moho as far as Kuma, Vaehahu, Volotitimoloheti and Haliatu┬áhave expressed gratitude over the resumption of normal health services to their communities.”
