A Task force from the Ministry of Education and Solomon Islands National Teacher’s Association has completed a survey on discussing teacher’s views on their leave packages and Housing allowances in the provinces.
SINTA General Secretary Samson Faisi says all information have been collected waiting for the arrival of staff from Central Islands and Guadalcanal Province.
Mr Faisi says the survey proves, teachers around the country plea on the government to meet their leave packages and housing allowances.
Mr Faisi says reports will be prepared and submitted to the Ministry of Education to be presented to cabinet.
He adds SINTA is serious about addressing teachers issues.
The task force comprises of staff from the Ministry of Education,SINTA,Private Education Authority and Honiara City Council Education Authority.
