Provincial Police Commander for Central Province Superintendent  Fred Satu has appealed to the people of Central Province to maintain the peace of Wednesday’s elections during the counting period.

The Provincial Police Commander made the statement yesterday.

He told SIBC News, the election belongs to the people, and any winning candidate will be the people’s representative in Parliament so everyone must continue with that respect.

“I would like to appeal to the communities of Savo Russells and Ngella to continue maintain the respect towards the National General Election process, like now we are going into counting.”

SIBC News understands, counting for two constituencies in Central Province Ngella and Savo Russell Constituencies continues today morning.
