Central Islands Provincial Assembly has passed its development budget for the next Financial year.

Provincial speaker John Bosamata announced the more than $5 million budget was passed Monday this week.

Lilian Keru reports from Tulagi, other issues discussed during the deliberation was a request by the MPA for Tulagi ward, Honourable Patrick Vasuni that the Tulagi Kindy School be replaced with a new and modern building.

The old Kindy classroom was demolished by the province during the 5th Solomon game held at Tulagi.

Meanwhile, Premier Selwyn Mapuli assures the Tulagi MPA, the province is ready to assist in building a new classroom for Tulagi kindly provided funds are available.
