The Coalition for Education Solomon Islands is in North Malaita on an education awareness campaign for schools in the region.

A team from the organization are doing educational awareness in North Malaita schools, with a theme “Education for All”.

SIBC’s Stringer for North Malaita, John Kiri reports the awareness aims to improve the standard of education for children in the future.

“To expand early childhood care and education, to provide free and compulsory primary education for all, promote learning and life skills for the young and adult people, increase adult literacy by 50 percent, to achieve gender parity by 2005 which was achieved and gender equality by 2015 and to improve the quality of education.”
