The Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development has said Doma will remain a long-term project site for the University of the South Pacific’s fourth Campus in Solomon Islands.

Minister of Education Dr. Derek Sikua made the clarification after it was announced that the fourth USP Campus was relocated to King George Sixth area.

Doma was initially earmarked for the Campus, but the Government has decided to relocate it due to various reasons.

Among the reasons were the long distance and lack of development taking place there.

However, Dr. Sikua says the Government is not ruling out Doma, adding they will still build the fourth USP Campus there.
