Forum Solomon Islands International (FSII) has presented a submission on alleged extravagant earnings of the Solomon Airlines Chief Executive Officer Captain Ron Sumsum to the Office of the Prime Minister yesterday afternoon.

In a statement today, FSII Chief Executive Officer Benjamin Afuga disassociate the intention of the report from tarnishing the good character of Captain Ron Sumsum as the report only respond to public concerns.

Mr Afuga says public concern over this matter is evident as the issue has been raised over some years by many Solomon islanders, including politicians recently.

He adds more importantly the role of Solomon Airline Board in allowing this to continue must also be investigated.

Meanwhile, after receiving the submission, Mr Sore assures FSII that the Democratic Coalition for Change Government (DCCG) will establish a commission of enquiry to investigate the issues being raised by FSII.

SIBC News had this week tried getting response about some of the issues raised by FSII from the Airline board Chairman Mr. Denton Rarawa but we were told, the airline board will make a public comment on our queries after its Friday meeting.
