Former Governor-General Sir Nathaniel Waena has paid tribute to the former Chair of the Leadership Code Commission, the late Francis Luza.
Sir Waena describe the late Luza as a brave leader who speaks out on issues which borders on corruption with determination.
“My humble tribute to him is he’s a leader of his own mind. He’s a leader who speaks out when he should; he’s a leader who is very much determined to see through his work as Chair of the Leadership Code Commission. Not many leaders have the bravery to speak out against things which are not right; things which border corruption and corruptive practices. The late Francis was one of our very few leaders who has bravery in heart to speak out.”
Sir Waena acknowledge, the late Luza’s service to the government and people of Solomon Islands.
He shares his condolence to the wife and children of the late Luza.
