GUADALCANAL PROVINCE STARTED ASSEMBLY MEETING

Guadalcanal Provincial Assemble began its two-week meeting today.
The fourth Meeting of the eighth Assemble runs from 15th to 29th this month.
GP media unit reports, two bills and two papers are to be deliberated on.
The two bills are – ‘The 2016/2017 budget review’ and ‘The Guadalcanal Province, Business, and Hawkers Licence (2014) Amendment Bill’.
Papers include – ‘The Service Based Operation Manual’ and ‘The Guadalcanal Women Division Policy’.
It further explains, the election of the deputy speaker and Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) are part of Government business for the week ending Friday 29th August.
