The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has handed over two sets of brand new computers to the Honiara City Council (HCC) Youth hub last Wednesday.
A statement from the City Council said UNDP Analyst Stella Tuhaika handed over the new computer sets during the International Youth Day celebrations this week.
Mrs Tuhaika said the assistance is part of UNDP’s support towards the youth hub of the City Council, specifically to assist those young people who don’t have access to computers.
Meanwhile, speaking on behalf of the HCC youth division, Youth Development officer Mary Joanisi said they are so privileged to receive the computers.
Joanisi said the computers will greatly help the 25 youth groups at the HCC Youth hub.
