HCC TO CONDUCT MAJOR TRAFFIC CHECK

The Law Enforcement Division of the Honiara City Council (HCC) will conduct a major traffic check on public vehicles operating in the City.

Chair of the Division, Charles Aiwosuga confirmed told SIBC News the vehicle check is to ensure that business licenses are collected and in turn used to better HCC services in the City.

“By next week, the Honiara City Council Law Enforcement officers will conduct a major traffic operation in which they will check public service vehicle licenses operating within the City. I appeal to everybody that this major traffic check is for the Council to collect the revenue to provide better services to the people in the City.”

Mr. Charles appeal to business houses including public vehicle owners to work together with the Honiara City Council in its service plans this year.
