The Ministry of Health and Medical Services will deploy a team to Isabel Province next month to monitor diarrhea in the province.
Nurse-In-Charge at the Buala Hospital, Martin Gavira told SIBC News, the team will monitor and provide awareness programs to end diarrhea in the province.
Mr Gavira said Buala Hospital is tracking down diarrhea cases awaiting the diarrhea monitoring team next month.
“The Health Promotions department is still monitoring the outbreak at the moment, so somewhere in August a monitoring diarrhea surveillance team will be deployed by the Ministry of Health and Medical Services to us, but at the moment we are using a diarrhea surveillance monitoring form to keep track of the outbreak.”
SIBC News understands, the hospital has recording a low number of diarrhea cases since the diarrhea outbreak was announced in early June.
