HIGH COURT TO DELIVER JUDGEMENT ON DEFILEMENT CASE

The Magistrates Court will deliver its judgement tomorrow on a well known Gospel singer accused of defiling his former girlfriend.

The singer is alleged to have had sex with the girl when she was only 13 years old and a form one student, between May 2010 and August 2011.

Meanwhile, in a separate case, trial has ended for an uncle accused of raping his 15 year old niece in November 2012, at Leo Creek in Honiara.

The trial started Monday and closed on Thursday last week, after the defense completed its case.

High Court Judge, Stephen Pallaras adjourned the matter for judgement on 31st July.
