The High Court will hear the country’s former Auditor General, challenging his termination by the Public Service Commission tomorrow.

Edward Ronia is seeking a judicial review on the decision the publicservice commission made on his termination.

Mr. Ronia was advised by the commission to leave his job late last year on the ground that he was over the age of 55.

The hearing is set for Monday morning.

Meanwhile, a direction hearing will be conducted for the election petition against North Guadalcanal MP Sam Maneka on Tuesday this week.

Former MP Martin Sopaghe lodged the election petition after Honourable Maneka won the North Guadalcanal seat during the National Elections last year.

Fifteen election petition were lodged after the elections last year, most of them citing bribery, treating and undue influence among their claims.

SIBC News understands, the election petition against East Are’are MP Andrew Manepora has been withdrawn.
