Former Honiara City, Mayor Andrew Mua has acknowledged the public for their support during his term as Mayor of Honiara City Council.
Mr Mua led the council for two terms but withdrew his candidacy for the new Mayor’s election last Tuesday.
He said he has no regrets bowing out of the leadership position as Mayor of Honiara City.
“I bowed out of the Honiara City Council leadership with no regrets and I have done the best that I could for the people of Honiara, so I’d like to thank the people of Honiara for the support given to me during my two terms as the Mayor for Honiara City.”
The Former City Mayor also acknowledged his newly elected successor Alfrence Fatai for his successful election.
