The Permanent Secretary for National Unity, Reconciliation and Peace says the Ministry’s upcoming radio drama under the “Iumi Tok Abaotim Peace” program will teach people the importance of peace.

“The peace message in these radio episodes will teach people about the importance of peace at the interpersonal, family, communal, national and international levels. It is hoped that through these peace messages transformation can start gaining root in the lives of Solomon Islanders and in the end practice of peace can become part of people’s character.”

The Permanent Secretary adds the program is also linked to other ministerial programs that are being implemented this year and is is not a standalone undertaking.
