KURUKURU LANDED IN FIJI FOR 2016 OFC CHAMPIONSHIP

In sports, the Solomon Islands National Futsal side Kurukuru has finally landed in Fiji ahead of next Monday’s Oceania’s Futsal
Championship.

The Oceania defending Champion has been hard at training in Australia for the last two weeks.

The national side wastes no time but head strait into business with its first training session at the Vodafone Arena in Suva this afternoon.

The team is expected to receive its wonder boy Micah Lea’alafa this Friday after his formal release few days ago from the New Zealands’ Auckland City FC.

Solomon Islands Football Federation told SIBC Sports this afternoon, Micah’s travel arrangement will be met by the OFC.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Football Association Chief Executive Officer, Bob Kumar confirms, the Vodafone Arena is ready for the OFC Futsal Championship.

All the participating teams in the 2016 OFC Futsal Championship are expected in Suva by this weekend.

The tournament kicks off next Monday.
