Minister for Infrastructure Development, Stanley Sofu has announced his Ministry wants to raise a revenue collection of $12.4 million, an increase of 4.6 percent from last year.
Minister Sofu made the statement in his contribution to debate on the National Budget in Parliament yesterday.
He also assured Parliament the Ministry will continue to increase revenue collections above budget expectations.
“In terms of revenue Mr Speaker Sir, the ministry is focusing to raise $12.4 million an increase of 4.6 percent from 2014 level. My ministry would like to assure this house that we will continue and attempt to increase our revenue collection more than what is budgeted for.”
