MALAITANS APPEALED ON TO TAKE PART IN UPCOMING SUMMIT

The Coordinator for the proposed Malaita Development Summit Lesley Kwaiga has appealed to the people of Malaita to take part in the upcoming provincial summit.

Making the appeal via their second radio talk-back show at the national broadcaster yesterday, Mr Kwaiga said the summit could be the opportunity that Malaitans are waiting for.

“I myself would also like to ask Malaitans, please this might be an opportunity that we have been waiting for, this might be an opportunity where new ideas, new inventions will be open to us and we come up with, so please be part of it, come and take part, come and support in any form.”

The Malaita Development Summit will run from 24 – 26 June at Aligegeo School in Malaita Province.
