A collective land use consultation process is an important avenue for land-based development in the country.
Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Augustine Auga made the statement at a National Land Use Policy Workshop in Honiara this week.
Minister Auga said Solomon Islands can only develop the best land use policy through a comprehensive stakeholder consultation process.
“It is only through such a comprehensive stakeholder consultation process that we would be able to develop the best land use policy possible for Solomon Islands.”
The two-day workshop ended today.
