The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) has confirmed more young people got involved in major incidents in Honiara.
In her weekly media conference, Deputy Police Commissioner Juanita Matanga urged parents to be responsible and advise their children to refrain from involving in criminal activities.
She says young people should not drive when they are drunk.
“The reason why said this is because a lot of incidents happening in town relates to and involves young people, involving in major accidents and as a result deaths occurred so I would like to advise vehicle owners not to allow young people to drive when they are under the influence of liquor.”
Meanwhile, the Deputy Police Commissioner warns, police will continue its traffic operations.
