The Ministry of Rural Development (MRD) has called on parties involved in distributing the 10,000 units of solar lamps donated by Taiwan this week to fulfill their mandated roles for the successful implementation of the solar lamps project in the country.
Minister for Rural Development Hon Jimson Tanangada made the call during the handover of the solar units this week.
Mr Tanangada said this is important to benefit the targeted constituents in the country.
The Minister adds that it is also important to provide a feedback report to the Taiwanese government concerning the implementation of the solar project.
“I believe capturing the development that is taking place in constituencies in very important for reporting purposes, so the staff of the Ministry must ensure we fully utilize this assistance. At the same time take good care of this equipment.”
