NATIONAL FINANCIAL TASK FORCE TO HOST FINANCIAL EXPO

The National Financial Inclusion Task Force has approved the holding of a Financial Inclusion Exposition.

A statement from the Central Bank of Solomon Islands said the expo will be held at the National Art gallery at the end of this month on June 20 and 21.

The expo is open to the general public and is targeted to attract school children, women and youth who should be on school holidays during that time.

All commercial banks, mobile phone companies, financial institutions, NPF, financial literacy training service providers and savings clubs are expected to be part of the event.

The Financial Inclusion Expo is to raise awareness about financial products and services available in the country, develop financial literacy, and to encourage public to access the various services, especially new technology based products.

The commercial banks, mobile phone companies and financial institutions will have stall displays of their services s for the general public.
