NEW HEALTH FOUNDATION TO SUPPORT HOSPITAL’s WORK

The Chairperson of the newly launched ‘Hapi Isles Health Foundation’ Board, Dr. Rooney Jagily has said the Foundation is to support the work of Hospital staff and the Children’s ward.

Dr. Jagily told SIBC News in an interview, the Foundation aims to support the hospital in areas of immediate need.

“The aim of the Foundation is to support the work they are doing to help in areas of immediate need or little things like repairing taps or do painting. One of the Foundation’s first project is to build a children’s play ground just next to the children’s ward so that children as part of their recovery, can play in the area.”

The Foundation is also planning to install two flat screen TV sets with children’s television programs at the Children’s ward.
