NGOs CONTINUE TO SUPPORT FLOOD-AFFECTED COMMUNITIES

Donor NGOs in the country continue to assist victims of last year’s flash flood in North Guadalcanal.

The NGOs involved in the initiative include World Vision, Oxfam, UNICEF and Save the Children.

The assistance is part of livelihood rehabilitation project for the victims. SIBC News stringer for North Guadalcanal Dudley Gani reports.

“Non-government organisations who are working in the country such as the World Vision, Oxfam, UNICEF, Save the Children and others are continuing with their support in terms of livelihood projects in North Guadalcanal, after the flash floods of April last year.”
