OPPOSITION CONGRATULATES CHOISEUL PROVINCE

The Opposition Leader Hon. Dr Derek Sikua has congratulated Choiseul Province on its 23rd Second Appointed Day anniversary.

In his congratulatory message addressed to the Premier of Choiseul Province Hon. Jackson Kiloe, Doctor Sikua says the occasion should be a time for the province and its people to reflect upon their journey as a province over the past 23 years, taking stock of their strengths and shortcomings to chart a way forward for a better tomorrow.

Dr Sikua is pleased to note that Choiseul Province under Premier Jackson Kiloe is featured as a high achiever in the Provincial Government performance ranking scale- an achievement which reflects the level of commitment by its leaders to serve its people and achieve its development aspirations.

Meanwhile, Dr Sikua also says it is no secret that a good number of highly qualified Solomon Islanders from the province continue to make significant contributions to the national economy through various sectors including agriculture, forestry and fishing.
