OPPOSITION CONGRATULATES R.A.M.S.I ON 12th ANNIVERSARY

Parliamentary Opposition Group convey its warmest greetings to all participating Forum Island Countries of the Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands (RAMSI), on the occasion to mark the 12th Anniversary of the arrival of the Mission to our shores.

In a statement today, the Group says the mission has made remarkable progress in bringing back law and order to our nation and continued to do so in other sectors of Government and the society as whole.

It adds, Solomon Islanders have witnessed peace and normalcy as the Mission continues to provide an enabling environment for all citizens of our beloved nation.

Meanwhile, Opposition Leader Jeremiah Manele reaffirm the alternative Government’s commitment towards the ongoing partnership and cordial relations RAMSI has established with Solomon Islands.

Mr Manele adds, RAMSI is not only a law and order Mission but a strong development partner of Solomon Islands adding this cordial friendship will continue to grow in the years ahead.

He thank the Governments and people of all Forum Islands Countries and the Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) for their contributions to the stability and growth of Solomon Islands through RAMSI in all development sectors.
