PEACEFUL MARCH FOR WEST PAPUA IN HONIARA TOMORROW

The Solomon Islands in Solidarity for West Papua Group will stage a peaceful march tomorrow to show Solomon Islands support towards the freedom of people of West Papua.

A member of the group Lily Chekana confirms the Police Commissioner has approved the peaceful march.

Miss Chekana also announced the Member of Parliament for West Makira Derrek Manuari and representatives from the Solomon Islands Christian Association will also take part in tomorrow’s program at the National Auditorium.

The march will begin at 7am tomorrow from the Honiara City Council to the National Auditorium where the  West Makira MP will deliver his speech.
