Ministry of Infrastructure Development and the Police Traffic Department will begin a one way trail for the Lekamboli Lane in Honiara.

The Lekamboli Lane is more commonly known as the Rock Haven Road.

A media release from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development says, the change is to enable a one way lane to help with the flow of traffic, coming out of the China Town Bailey Bridge.

The statement adds the road will flow westwards only, meaning vehicles will enter from the House of Chief end, and exit behind ITA to join the main traffic.

It adds the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force will be guiding traffic for the first week, and road signs will be put up to notify the public of the change.
