PRE-TRIAL CONFERENCE FOR MEN STEALING SOLAR PANELS

A pre-trial conference will be held this week for three Guadalcanal men who allegedly stole and sold six solar power panels, worth $400,000.00, from the Telekom Tower in Tamboko, West Guadalcanal this year.
The men have each been charged with two counts of simple larceny.
The men denied the charges when they took their plea at the Magistrate’s Court Thursday last week.
Police allege the men stole six solar panels from the Our Telekom Tower in Tamboko in July this year and sold them.
The solar panels are worth a total of $400,000.00.
SIBC News understands Police have recovered five of the solar panels.
