Publication of provisional voters lists will commence Monday next week.

Solomon Islands Electoral Commission Chief Electoral Officer Mose Saitala today confirms, the lists will be available in all 50 constituencies for three weeks.

He says this is the period for all registered voters to do their inspections, omissions and objections.

“It will be two weeks displayed at the constituency level , it will be displayed for inspection in the first week. The next week will be filing of omissions and objections.”

Mr Saitala urges registered voters to thoroughly check and submit their inputs during that period.

“The voters should go to where they are registered during the registration period and inspect the provisional list in the voter registration centers.

“They should check them thoroughly if their names are there, or if they registered but their names are not there. And they should also check the other names in the list and file their objections.”
