RSIPF HAS NEW WEBSITE

The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) is launching its new official website today.
Police Commissioner Frank Prendergast confirmed in his weekly media conference yesterday.
Mr Prendergast said the new site will be operational by this morning.
“The RSIPF will be launching its official website. The website address is www.rsipf.gav.sb and it will up and running as of tomorrow morning.”
The Police Commissioner adds the site will assist police in terms of its external communications.
“The website will assist us to improve our external communications and our goal to work in closer partnership with the community and external agencies. I think you’re all aware that I’ve spoken before about the RSIPF changing its focus to more of a crime prevention focus, that’s the type of model we wish to adopt and a very important part of that kind of model is our ability to engage with the community and we’re expecting the website will give us the ability to do that more effectively.”
