Chief of Staff within the Prime Minister’s Office Robson Djokovic is pursuing a civil case in the High Court to determine the legality of his citizenship.

The High Court Registry confirms, Mr Djokovic as claimant filed a civil case number 335 of 2020 against the Attorney General representing the Solomon Islands Citizenship Commission, Registrar of Political Parties Commission and Solomon Islands Electoral Commission.

It says, the case was listed for first mention at 9:30am September 7th 2020.

Meanwhile, the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force earlier submitted its report of investigation on Mr Djokovic’s alleged breach of the electoral act to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution for legal opinion.
