Water problems will now be a thing of the past for the San Isidro Care and Training Centre in North-West Guadalcanal.
This was made possible by the installation of a much-needed water pump at the Centre by the Honiara Rotary Club.
Costing the Club more than $27,000, it says the transformation of San Isidro’s water supply system is an excellent example of what can be achieved by working together.
The Rotary Club said this will make a huge difference in the lives of this inspirational community.
Meanwhile, the water pump was installed with the help of the Operation Render Safe volunteers and the local community.
