SCOUTS JAMBOREE

Twenty two Solomon Islands Scouts will leave the country tomorrow to attend the 20th Scout Jamboree in New Zealand.

Chief Scout Commissioner Joe Billy Oge says the local Scouts team will participate in the Jamobree with scouts from New Zealand and the rest of the world.

He says out of the 22 scouts traveling tomorrow 17 are young children from ages 10 to 17 years, including their leaders.

Mr Oge says the Jamobree runs for 10 days from 28th December.

The Solomon Islands Scouts team will return on the 10th of January 2014.
