The Solomon Voices Choir have welcomed the presence of Musical Maestro Mr. Igelese Ete and Fijian Youth Leader, Peter Waqavonovono.

The duo is currently in the country to prepare 200 students for the 2016 Solomon Islands High School Choral Festival.

This year’s event is organised by the Solomon Voices Choir and has invited a wide range of performers, a world-renowned dance choreographer, a regional designer and stage prep expert and top lights and sounds engineers in staging a world class show, Malaga the journey.

Malaga the Journey is a tribute to the seafaring and navigating history of our Pacific Peoples.

Meanwhile, Mr. Waqavonovono said having the Production come to Honiara is a blessing and a step forward for the students of the Solomon Islands Choral Festival .

The Festival will feature over three days from the 5th to the 7th July 2016 and will be held at the National Auditorium, Museum Honiara.
