The man who allegedly wounded a Melanesian Brotherhood Tasiu with an arrow last year in Makira-Ulawa Province will reappear in court next month.

According to a police statement, the suspect was arrested and charged for alleged wounding after the incident last August when he shot the Tasiu with an arrow, which injured the victim’s right ribs.

Provincial Police Commander for Makira-Ulawa Province Superintendent Peter Sitai said the defendant appeared in court on March 9 and the matter was adjourned to April 6 because he did not have a lawyer to represent him in court.
