VEKE SAYS CELEBRATIONS MARK START OF ANOTHER STEP

The Premier of Guadalcanal Province, Anthony Veke says commemorations to celebrate the Province’s second appointed day this year marks another year of journey on the step of progress for Guadalcanal Province.
Guadalcanal celebrated its thirtieth Anniversary at the Don Bosco Technical Institute at Henderson, yesterday.
Premier Veke said the 30th anniversary is to reflect on achievements, take note of short comings and endeavour to renew the commitment to serve the people of Guadalcanal Province and the country.
“We use the day to reflect on what our province have achieved, take stock of out short comings and endeavour to renew our commitment as we serve our people, province and the country”.
Meanwhile, the Guadalcanal Premier says the Provincial Government has to plan for positive changes in Guadalcanal Province to tackle its challenges.
He said positive changes can only be realized if there is peace and unity among the people of Guadalcanal Province.
