The Solomon Islands Ports Authority (SIPA) Chief Executive Officer Collin Yow has convinced the local pressure groups, businesses, and other organisations during a presentation on SIPA Reform programs last night at the Heritage Park Hotel.

A number of local organizations, business house representatives, and the public have attended the presentation.

President of the Malaita Ma’asina Forum (MMF) Charles Dausabea says the presentation was successfully conducted.

“What he’s cleared last night and a lot of us and even others attending the meeting went away satisfied was that the reform will mainly benefit the indigenous people of the country like us, which we were really happy about his presentation last night.”

Dausabea says the attendees were satisfied that SIPA is bringing goods at a lower price – favourable to local businesses and consumers.
