The High Court this year is expected to hear a multi-million dollar outstanding case that will require extra funding to hear it.

The case involves the Town ground building.

Chief Justice Sir Albert Palmer referred to it as another multi-million dollar case, similar to the long civil case between
Sumitomo Mining Limited and Axiom KB Limited.

Chief Justice Palmer says the Sumitomo-Axiom case was quite an expensive one because an expatriate judge had to be recruited to hear it, and it took almost nine months to complete.

He says the Town Ground building case will also require extra funding and assistance of a separate judge to preside over.
