PANGA STRONGLY WARNS GUADALCANAL PEOPLE TO VOTE WISELY

Former Guadalcanal Premier Stephen Panga has issued a strong warning to Guadalcanal people to use their best judgement when they cast their ballots in the coming elections.
Mr Panga says there are lots of outstanding issues of Guadalcanal Province, and it is crucial that who ever they vote into the Parliament is a strong leader who can address those issues and move the province forward.
“Guadalcanal still has a lot of issues that needs to be addressed, especially on the demands of the people of Guadalcanal and one of them which is the demand for State Government. The country’s forthcoming 10th parliament should take this as a challenge, especially in tabling a possible federal Bill.”
The former Premier adds, one of the reasons Guadalcanal Province has never been able to progress, was the lack of coordination between the Provincial Government and the National Government.
