The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force is urging parents and responsible authorities to assist address unwanted behaviors in the country’s youth population.

Acting Police Commissioner Juanita Matanga makes the statement during her weekly media conference after police attended a road block incident at Lungga over the weekend.

Mrs Matanga said such behaviours will not do any good to the country but continue to create disharmony in our society.

“I’d like to urge the leaders and parents within those communities and church leaders, women, youth leaders to assist our youths to discourage such behaviours. Such behaviors will not result in any good outcomes but often creates disharmony in our society”.

Mrs. Matanga adds law and order is needed in the country, therefore, leaders and parents must cooperate address youth problems.
