RENBEL MAN WELCOMED ATTORNEY GENERAL’S ADVICE ON PROVINCE

A Rennell Bellona man has welcomed advice from the Attorney General’s Chamber for members of the Rennell Bellona Provincial Assembly to re-do elections of the provincial speaker and premier.

Jimmy Sevesi of Ward One, East Rennell says, the Attorney General Chamber’s order follows observations, the elections were conducted outside of the Provincial Standing Orders.

Mr Sevesi says, the situation is an embarrassing one especially for the voters in Rennell Bellona.

He adds it also portrays badly on an assembly which the electorates voted in on December 10, 2014 at a critical time when a new provincial government is badly needed.
