SEVENS SOCCER KNOCK OUT STARTS IN NORTH GUADALCANAL

A seven a-side soccer knock out has started in North West Guadalcanal.

Organiser of the tournament Mr Jeffery Rapasia says the purpose of the tournament is to raise money for Visale Parish Catholic Church needs.

He adds they have already completed round one and two of the tournament last weekend saying round three will be held this weekend.

Mr Rapasia also says around 30 teams have registered.

“About 30 teams participated and now we are into the technical knockout but still many teams have shown interest to want to get registered into round one, but we have to close it because it would take us another three weeks.”
