TEN MORE PRISONERS RELEASED ON PAROLE

Ten prisoners from Rove Central Correctional Centre (CSSI) were released yesterday afternoon.

Of the ten prisoners, one has served 21 years of life-sentence and the rest 10 years and above.

It is understood, this is the third group of life timers to be released on parole after the introduction of the Correctional Service (parole) Regulation 2014.

The appropriate Regulation was gazetted on May 30th.
