Trial will begin tomorrow at the High Court for a young man in his twenties accused of killing his girlfriend and throwing her body into a valley behind Tuvaruhu in 2012.

The hearing was set to begin today, but the prosecution appealed to adjourn it for tomorrow saying they need more time to discuss the case and meet with their witnesses.

The defence opposed the adjournment, but Chief Justice Sir Albert Palmer granted it, saying lawyers must be prepared before they come to Court for their cases.

The victim was a young girl of 19, whose body was found already decomposed in a valley behind Tuvaruhu in October 2012.
