Day 11 of the 15 Pacific Games competition in Port Moresby yesterday has seen Solomon Islands winning more medals from various athletes.
A gold medal, one silver and four bronze medals were won by various athletes.
Rolland Ko’ofuli is in Port Moresby covering the regional competition.
“Ms. Firisua’s medal has moved the number of medals won by the country so far to four. Body Building has also won a silver medal. SIBC sports understands, Rocky Teklam competes in the 65 Kilograms class and won the medal. The country’s karate team has also made the country proud when four of its athletes won four bronze medals. They are Ashley John Marigeni competing in the 67 Kilogram class; Janet Lidiakwai in 68 Kilograms; Selwyn Kuru on the 84 Kilogram and Robert Anita on the 84 plus Kilogram.”
