8th PREMIER’s CONFERENCE COMMITTEE PRESENTED PLAN TO H.C.C

The Local Organising Committee (LOC), responsible for the 8th Premiers Conference preparations, has presented a progressive report and an overview of its planned activities to the Honiara City Council Executive.

Chairman of the LOC Maesac Suia says, this is to update both Honiara City Council and Guadalcanal Province about the progress of the needed preparation as they will be co-hosting the Premiers conference.

Meanwhile, Eddie Ngava, Deputy City Mayor said the progressive report presented by the LOC is timely as the event must be carefully strategized.

Mr Ngava adds, some areas still need improvement, however, the HCC Executive is happy with what has been achieved so far.

SIBC News understands the opening of the 8th Premiers Conference is on the 1st of October at Ginger Beach, Northwest Guadalcanal.
