PREPARATIONS WELL UNDERWAY FOR TEAM SOLOMONS

In Sports, Team Solomon’s preparation for the upcoming Pacific Games in Port Moresby is well underway, says Ronald Talasasa Jr, Chef-de-Mission for Team Solomons to next month’s Pacific Games.

Speaking to SIBC Tok Sports, Mr Talasasa confirms, overall, the team is gearing up well for the Games.

“All the sports are preparing well, all the athletes are doing their best to make it to Papua New Guinea to be in the best performance.”

He appeals to the general public to throw their support behind the national contingent instead of criticising them.

“Please be behind our team, back them and not criticize them. If there is anything that they would like to raise for us to take note of, raise it constructively, but it is now time to hold hands together and back our team for Papua New Guinea. They are not representing themselves, they are representing you, they are representing Solomon Islands.”
