InvestSolomons Website Officially Launched with Support from PACER Plus
The Ministry of Commerce, Industries, Labour and Immigration, through InvestSolomons, proudly launched the official InvestSolomons website on Thursday 23 October at the Heritage Park Hotel in Honiara.
The event marks a major milestone in the Government’s commitment to modernise and strengthen investment promotion in the Solomon Islands.
The new website serves as a central hub for investors—both domestic and international—to access up-to-date information on investment opportunities, policies, procedures, and priority sectors across the country. It also reflects the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to promote transparency, efficiency, and accessibility in facilitating business and investment.
The successful implementation of this initiative was made possible through the invaluable support of the PACER Plus Implementation Unit, under the PACER Plus Agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade.
This collaboration has been instrumental in enhancing Solomon Islands’ investment promotion capacity.
As part of this partnership, a Promotions Specialist was engaged to work alongside InvestSolomons in designing and developing a modern, user-friendly, and informative website that effectively showcases the nation’s economic potential to a global audience.
In his address, Permanent Secretary Mr Riley Mesepitu highlighted that the website launch signifies a new era in the Solomon Islands’ engagement with the global investment community, providing a trusted and transparent gateway for investors seeking opportunities in the country.
He further acknowledged PACER Plus for their valuable partnership and support, underscoring that this initiative marks a significant advancement in the nation’s digital transformation and efforts to enhance investor engagement.
The launch event was attended by government representatives, private sector leaders, development partners, and members of the diplomatic corps, who commended the initiative as a significant step forward in digital transformation and economic promotion.
The InvestSolomons website is now live and accessible at www.investsolomons.com.
It will serve as a vital tool in promoting the Solomon Islands’ potential as an emerging investment destination in the Pacific region.
